If you’re looking for a great way to get your blood flowing and body stretched out for the day, I found out Miss Sybil has the answer.  She runs a wonderful program in Sicklerville, New Jersey at the Winslow Baptist Church called Kidzercise.  It’s been a staple in the community for more than 8 years, and last week I found out what it is all about.  Not only did I get a great workout, but my cheeks hurt from laughing so much.  Miss Sybil helps an incredibly adorable group of children keep in shape and learn healthy habits.

The motto for Kidzercise: healthy kids means healthy adults.  The children wake up before school for the program and the best part is the activities are so fun you almost forget you’re exercising.  I participated in relay races with the students, played dodge ball and even ran a race with a huge balloon tube around my body.  We worked on every muscle in the body, and as 8-year-old Gianna Barr told me: we really burned a lot of calories.
