McGillin’s Shakes Up “Phillies-tinis”

The season opener for the Phillies coincides with April Fools Day, and I headed to McGillin’s Old Ale House to learn how to make a “Phillies-tini.”  I had a blast with Tammy, the head bartender, who says all you need is 2 shots of vanilla vodka, a splash of cranberry juice and pineapple juice.  The nice touch is lining the martini glass with red sugar.  The restaurant also offers a delicious sandwich known as the grand slam.
