“Before the season opener and home opener there’s the day when tickets go on sale.  I was so glad to get back to Citizen’s Bank Park (even though it was bitterly cold) — to me there’s nothing in the world like being on a baseball diamond early in the morning.  I had a blast speaking with Phillies VP of Ticket Sales John Weber and the die-hard fans who camped out for more than 12 hours waiting to purchase tickets.  I also had the opportunity to chat with Phillies Broadcaster Tom McCarthy about the 2013 season and all the dynamics the boys in red will be taking to the field.  The morning wrapped up with an interview with Tommy Greene.  Yes, the former Major League Baseball player who pitched a no hitter against my team, the nonexistent Montreal Expos.  What an awesome guy!  The best morning a reporter could ask for!”
