PHOTOS: Clearwater or Bust!

The Phillies, with “help” from the Phillie Phanatic, set off for Clearwater this morning. As the Phillies head south for Spring Training, beginning this Wednesday, the Phanatic and employees loaded a 53-foot truck with, literally tons, of Phillies goodies and gear.

The Phillies are asking fans to tweet what items they would bring to Clearwater this year. (Use the hashtag #ClearwaterOrBust).  A sample of what the Phillies pack is below…

12 cases of sunflower seeds
20 coolers and a half pallet of POWERade mix
250 batting practice tops
350 pair of shorts
450 pair of socks
600 pair of pants
600 hats
200 fleeces
1,200 bats

10,000 12 oz. cups
150 pairs of batting gloves
