The Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia is home to an expansive collection of art, manuscripts and printed works from the nation’s Revolutionary Period. The museum traces the evolution of the colonies from the earliest days of unrest through the war and the victory that led to a new nation.
Host, Jennifer Lewis-Hall speaks with Michael Quinn, the museum’s President and Chief Executive Officer and Scott Stephenson – Vice President of Exhibitions and Programming. Chazz Alberti, the chef responsible for the museum’s Cross Keys Café is also a guest on the show with interesting information on food indicative of the period and how that is being served in the restaurant today. One of the most anticipated pieces in the museum is General George Washington’s headquarters tent where Washington slept and made decisions for the country. Museum executives shared with Jennifer how their aim is to tell an inclusive story of the American Revolution that is often overlooked by other institutions.
