PHILADELPHIA – Temple University Athletics announced today that the Temple-Tulane football game on Saturday, November 19, will be broadcast on PHL17 in Philadelphia. The Owls (7-3, 5-1 in the American Athletic Conference) travel to New Orleans to take on the Green Wave (3-7, 0-6) with kickoff set for 3:30 p.m.
The broadcast will be produced by American Sports Network with Jeff McCarragher (play-by-play) and Michael Young (analyst) calling the action. It will also be available over the internet on ESPN3. As always, Temple football games can also be heard on 97.5 The Fanatic.
“We are extremely grateful to PHL17 for clearing our game against Tulane this Saturday on such short notice,” said Scott Walcoff, Temple University‘s Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Operations. “This provides Temple fans, and college football fans in the Philadelphia market, an opportunity to watch our Owls in a key conference game.”
WPHL Director of Sales, Dave Yost added, “All of us at PHL17, Philly’s true local station, are thrilled to bring Temple fans across the Delaware Valley this game broadcast as the Owls continue their quest to win the American Athletic Conference East Division.”
The Owls will return to Lincoln Financial Field for their final home game of the regular season on Saturday, November 26, to take on East Carolina. Kickoff time has not been determined but tickets remain available. For ticket information please call 215-204-TIXX.
