Legendary artist Prince made an emergency landing and was apparently rushed to an Illinois hospital Friday morning, TMZ is reporting.

After a show Thursday night in Atlanta, the pilot of his private plane apparently made an unscheduled stop around 1 a.m. at Quad City International Airport in Moline.

The 57-year-old’s condition isn’t clear – one source told TMZ he was “not doing well,” while another said he has already been released from an area hospital.

If Prince handles his official Twitter account personally, he is well enough to be tweeting Friday afternoon:

Prince postponed an April 7 show because of illness after reportedly getting the flu.
