The city of Philadelphia threw the Villanova Wildcats a parade they won’t soon forget.  From 22nd and Market to Dilworth Plaza the 2016 NCAA Champions and coach Jay Wright held the trophy up for the thousands of fans lined up along the route.  The parade ended with a ceremony with Mayor Kenney and speeches by players and Coach Wright.

This is the first champinship for Villanova since 1985 and the first parade for a sports team since 2008 when the Phillies won the world series.  In addition to the players the parade featured Fire, Police and EMTs from in and around Villanova, the Villanova Band, Cheerleader, alumni and more.
