When Turkeys Attack

A mail carrier from Hillsdale, New Jersey needed police assistance when a group of turkeys trapped her in her vehicle and prevented her from continuing her mail route. Two officers were dispatched and were able to scare away the turkeys so that the mail carrier could finish making the rest of her deliveries. Residents of the neighborhood have noticed an increase in wildlife and say the turkeys attack during mating season. The reason for the increase is the lack of wetland in the area do to ongoing construction. No turkeys, or mail carriers were harmed in the making of this story.
