PHL17's Zachery Lashway sits down with two seminarians to talk about how one devotes their life to God in 2015 when their is so much noise.
"It's something I actually ran from for a long time," explains Philadelphia native Keith Beaver.
Keith says the call to serve the Holy Spirit wouldn't go away.
For 25-year-old Alec Bonacci declaring a religious vocation wasn't something he had thought about. He says the realization he needed to serve God was more of an epiphany after he sustained an injury in football. "It wasn’t until Holy Thursday 2012, I didn’t know it was this day that I really found God. Sort of the natural response people have during times like this is they bargain with God. They say ‘hey God, you spare my life, I’ll do whatever you want me to do’, so that’s what I did. I said ‘hey God, I’ll do whatever you want me to do if you just let me live’."
