Three times per year the Philadelphia Eagles welcome an intimate crowd of 200 for an in-depth, behind-the-scenes taste of what it’s like to be an Eagle at the Novacare Complex. The first installment was held Sunday for women. An Eagles Academy for men and one for children will follow later in 2014. Eagles players, Eagles coaches, Eagles staff and Eagles alumni all take part in the day as participants experience life as a Philadelphia Eagle. (Eagles Academy photos below).
A highlight of Eagles Academy Sunday was keynote speaker Jon Dorenbos. Jon’s keynote address started the day off with not only a glimpse of what it’s like to be a player, but what it’s specifically like to do things the Eagles way. (If you ever get a chance to see Jon speak– do it. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and he’ll put a little magic on you– figuratively and literally.) (Jon Dorenbos Eagles Academy photos below.)
The Eagles Academy women also were able to tour the Novacare Complex through and through. From drills on the practice field with players, class instruction with coaches, workout room with trainers, locker room and even lunch in the Eagles cafeteria with the same food that the Eagles eat.
Up next for Eagles Academy is 2014 Eagles Academy for Men on April 26th and 27th 2014. Click here for more details.
