Want your fridge to run more efficiently and last longer?  Our favorite DIY HIP Chick, Beth Allen, shares some tips and tricks for making sure your fridge is always chilling.

* Don’t place food on top of the fridge. It eliminates air flow and doesn’t look presentable.

*Make sure you vacuum your condenser coils twice a year. Don’t forget to vacuum under and behind the fridge to clean up dust and debris.

*Make sure the fridge is plugged into a three prong outlet, and not an extension cord.

* Check the edge of the door to make sure it is tack. To clean up grime along the edges, use vinegar. This will make sure that the fridge is secure and will allow everything inside to keep cool.
