Halloween is a hectic time for families whether you’re going out as a group or letting your older kids head out alone for the first time. Luckily, we had Daniel Costa of Oracle Protection Services on the show this morning to offer up some important advice on how to protect your children this Halloween Night. Costa recommends checking up with your kids on social media to see where they are and make sure they’re staying safe. Another way to use social media to your benefit is to follow your local police department’s Facebook and Twitter pages and check for crime updates they’ve posted. Last, but not least, one tool mom & dad should all have in their arsenal is Life360, a GPS tracking app that lets parents keep track of their kids in real time as they trick-or-treat.

Before you head out with your little ghouls and goblins tonight, be sure to check out Jen’s exclusive Eye Opener Trick-OR-Treat Weather Forecast. Luckily, it won’t be raining cats and dogs tonight, though there were a few flying costumed dogs in our studio this morning.  If you don’t believe us, just check it out…
