Halloween is the time of year for costumes, candy and cooky creatures! Now don’t think that humans are the only ones that can have fun on this spooky holiday. The crew of Eye Opener brought their pets into the studio to join our Halloween celebration!

In the studio today we had my cockapoo Princess Jazzy, our producer’s Pomeranian King Theodore, Zach’s St. Bernard Sully the Pumpkin and Lauren’s Superstar Bailey, who’s a pit bull mix. And, there was Albert the Taco and Gertrude Elizabeth the Rabbit, who are brother and sister English Bulldogs. Thanks to Doggy Style for providing the costumes! All of the dogs were able to show off their Halloween look hoping to win the cutest costume award. You can see their pictures on our Eye Opener Facebook Page and give a thumbs up to the dog who you think has the cutest costume! Joining us in the studio was Jared Kurr, Director of Operations/Managing Partner at Philadelphia Pet Hotel and Villa. The hotel provides man’s best friend with a luxurious home away from home. Jared provided us with safety tips on how to keep your dogs safe on Halloween so make sure you take notes!

Tune into Eye Opener weekdays from 6-8am. Check us out on Facebook or follow us on Twitter @EyeOpenerPhilly. Make sure to vote for the dog you think has the cutest costume! Check out the pictures below of our four-legged friends!

Be sure to check out Jen’s weather forecast before you head out with your little ghosts and goblins. Lucky for us, it won’t be raining cats and dogs – there was enough of that in our own studio this morning.
