This Sunday, I will be hosting an awards event for Inn Dwelling, an amazing non-profit that helps top students in the Philadelphia area who are in need of financial support to get into great schools.

It was a treat for me and the staff here at Eye Opener to surprise Jadaé Maxton with all the cool things she needed for her dorm room. Jadaé recently started her freshman year at St. Joseph’s University. She’s majoring in chemical biology. She wants to pursue medicine as a way to giving back to her community, particularly for those who don’t have access to quality medical care.

Her compelling story getting into college and struggling to afford it was truly heartfelt. Congratulations again to Jadaé!
