If long distance runs are right up your path you understand that with a busy work schedule and family life, sometimes the daily run has to come when it’s least convenient. Philadelphia resident Matt Ryan is an avid runner who often has to run alone because of his packed schedule. In order for him to feel safe he has turned to the convenience of an app called “Be Safe” which tracks your location and can coordinate with your family and friends if there is ever trouble.

“Be Safe” can track your location and coordinate with your family and friends with just a push of a button if you’re ever in trouble. Whether you’ve twisted your ankle, are lost on a trail, caught up in a lightning storm or in danger the app can send out a text message to your “guardian” and contacts who you program in this app. The text will have your exact location and will even follow up with a call if you ever get in trouble.
