In this week’s installment of Biz Bites Peter Van Allen and I made our way to Chadds Ford, PA to check out Farmer’s Road, a “fast food restaurant” that doesn’t kill your waistline!

This antique spot is all about community building as everything sold in it is locally produced. Farmer’s Road has everything from organic meat from New York state to homegrown greens and veggies. The atmosphere within the restaurant gives you the old farmhouse feel with a modern new aged twist. You would never know from the complete attention to antiquity and detail of Farmer’s Road that it once was a KFC! It is certain that Farmer’s Road is making a name for itself with a taste all their own and out of this world. Our favorite plate of the day – The Stadium Dog, a healthy twist on an old favorite!

Tune in every Thursday for a new installment of Biz Bites.
