Citizens Bank Park was bustling this weekend….the Phillies swept the Mets!  But wait…wasn’t that in New York?

While our Boys in Red were taking care of business in the Big Apple, thousands of people throughout the Delaware Valley were taking care of other business in South Philly at the Great Strides Walk.  The annual walk is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s largest and most successful fund-raising event.  Thousands of tri-state co-workers, clubs and organizations, friends and families came together as one community for one cause…to help find a cure for cystic fibrosis.

This year the Delaware Valley Chapter aims to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for the worthy cause.  Participants had the unique opportunity to walk together around the inside of the ball park and finished off their once-in-a-lifetime experience rounding the bases like a big league pro.

All funds raised from the walk will help support life-saving research, quality care, and education programs.  For more information on how you can get involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, visit cff.org
