The Orangutan Foundation (OFI) is gearing up for it’s 1st annual 5K Run/Walk this Sunday, April 28 at the Philadelphia Zoo to help the long term survival of Orangutans in the wild.
All proceeds from Sunday’s event will go towards OFI’s cause to help support the conservation, protection, and understanding of orangutans and their rain forest habitat ,while caring for ex-captive orangutan orphans.
Save the Orangutans 5k Run/Walk already has a complete total of 966 registrants and is expecting a total of 1,000 participants. Even though online registration has officially closed, interested participants can still register the day of the event at the Philadelphia Zoo on Sunday, April 28 at 7:00am.
